Educational Seminars

First Aid ClassThe responsibility of owning a dog goes far beyond feeding and walking him. This four legged creature is a part of the family unit and needs to be considered when making family decisions. At Downtown Dogs we strive to build lasting relationships between the dogs we care for and their human caretakers. Towards that goal, we are proud to offer a variety of seminars throughout the year to help strengthen that bond.

Move Over Rover- Preparing for a New Baby

If you are expecting (or recently added) a new human baby to your family, there will be a lot of changes for your family dog. In this seminar, we will discuss some of the concerns you may have, signs of potential problems, and training methods you can use to prepare your dog for this big change. This will be a lecture and demonstration, so please leave your dog(s) at home. Babies are welcome.

The fee for the class is $25 per person or $40 per couple.
